Key concepts
Business, menu, section, dish, languages, publishing, and plugins.
Business
A business is a venue (or brand) with its own menu, design, QR codes, and settings. You can have several businesses on the same account and switch between them from the dashboard.
Menu, section, and dish
- Dish: the product (name, price, allergens, photo…). You create it under Dishes and then assign it to sections.
- Section: a grouping within a menu (Starters, Mains…).
- Menu: a set of sections visible to guests based on schedules and active/inactive status.
Interface language and content language
The interface language is the language of the TapasQR website (Spanish, English, and so on). The content language is the language of your menu and website texts (dish names, descriptions). You can have several content languages and translate or replicate them.
Publishing
Activating a menu or publishing the website/menu design makes the current version visible to guests. While you edit, you can work with drafts or menus marked inactive so they are not shown.
Plugins
- Reservations: staff board and public booking page.
- Events board: announcements and public events listing.
- Delivery: home delivery orders and venue board.
